PART 1: In this 3 part series I talk about basics how to start a fire in winter and snow, and general survival tips in a winter situation where fire is of great importance to make it through alive. I show you step by step how to create a fire even in winter when snow has covered the ground. I also discuss some general basics on collecting water and basic tools which can aid in survival. I am by no means the first to bring forward some of these ideas or laying claim to coming up with them - they are well documented in many survival guides and books from long before my time - but it is my intention to spread them to others who enjoy the outdoors, and those interested in survival techniques, condensing those points that I think are most important into this series of videos. Of course there are many other necessary aspects to outdoor survival and I hope to bring forth those points in future videos. For now I hope this is interesting and enjoyable. Thanks for watching.
